Brixton Sessions

Dreamcatchers

November

The weather has actually been seasonally pleasant, but as soon as an outdoor music event hits the Capital it’s usually accompanied by a big chunk of wet-weather reality. This was certainly the case this Bank Holiday and for the Camden Crawl, for which hundreds queued in the rain to watch a wide range of musical talent. The Wilderness of Manitoba came straight from Camden and took cover in the Brixton Windmill where they performed two fascinating tracks. With other artists arriving to sound check and the Windmill buzzing with energy the band brought a sense of calm with tracks from both their new and previous album.

The four members from Ontario, Canada produce stunning layered harmonies in a landscape rich style. This is more than just folk – their talent is so immediate and we hope to have captured this during their Brixton Session.
