Brixton Sessions

‘Cold Alberta Nights’

They rocked into Brixton together and have been touring as a unit for the best part of a year but we were greatful to grab a separate sessions with the incredible Eamon McGrath. On May 26th Toronto based peacemaker Eamon McGrath smashed the session with his bluesey howl and narrative led lyrics. With a spirit of punk rock anthems his whiskey inspired tunes are hard to resist with Ottawa Citizen naming ’13 songs of Whiskey and Light best album’ of 2009 for good reason.

‘Cold Alberta Nights’ is a heartfelt tribute to the wilderness of the Canadian territories from which Eamon originates.

There is plenty of material to choose from with Eamon having released 18 records to date, making him one of the most productive recording artists we have ever come across. So grab an album, a Jagermeister and enjoy – or alternatively you can catch Eamon with the Mohawk Lodge, currently touring through Canada, and hopefully heading back to the UK soon!

The new album Peacemaker is released 20 July.

Brixton Sessions seems to be loving Canada right now and why not.
