Airwaves was one of the first bands to perform for Brixton Sessions, and they were an ideal candidate to get the mood and feel of what the videos are all about. Performed at the Windmill in Brixton on a bitterly cold evening, the icy winter weather seemed more familiar with their hometown of Brooklyn than in South London.
The 3-piece, led by Nicole Schneit, have tracks with a 90’s garage band feel about them, and speak with an honest and an unpretentious feel which seems to have become far too rare among acts.
